Right Angle Featured in Juried Design Collection
LAFAYETTE, LA – Talk about thinking outside the box: Right Angle mined the far reaches of the solar system for the inspiration of a design
that’s achieved worldwide notice.
Creative Director Blake Lagneaux designed an Astronomy/Space Exploration badge for the Lafayette Science Museum. It’s one of five designs the museum uses to brand and promote its summer camp for kids.
The badge design, which features the planet Saturn, is included in the recently published book LogoLounge 9: 2,000 International Identities by Leading Designers. It was chosen from a pool of more than 22,000 entries by an international panel of jurors. LogoLounge is an online and traditionally published resource of reference material for design professionals.
Cheryl Taylor Bowie, Right Angle’s owner, noted this is the second time a Right Angle design has been selected for a LogoLounge publication. “We uphold the highest design standards while pushing the boundaries of creativity. As a result, our work is on a par with the best-known names in our industry,” Bowie said.
