Right Angle Enters National Advertising Competition

LAFAYETTE, LA –Will Right Angle strike gold again? After receiving three American Advertising Awards at the district level, the full-service advertising, public relations, marketing, and branding agency has entered the final, national round of the competition. Winners will be announced June 7 at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, as part of the AAF National Conference. The AAAwards recognize outstanding work in the local advertising, creative, and media community.

Right Angle’s three district awards, one gold and two silver, are entered in the national, juried competition. Its silver awards recognize graphics created for The Crawl Space, an interactive insect exhibit at Lafayette Science Museum, and environmental branding created for Pizza Artista, a local start-up restaurant. The pizzeria’s branding included its color palette and logo, as well as a menu, uniforms, and signage. Right Angle earned a gold award for its self-promotional New Year’s video, which was filmed and edited by Right Angle and features the entire agency staff.

“The Right Angle team takes great pride in transforming their creative ideas into tangible and visual products, so it’s exciting to have the opportunity for that work to compete on a national stage,” said Cheryl Taylor Bowie, Right Angle’s owner.

Right Angle previously won 18 American Advertising Awards — six gold and 12 silver — at the local AAAwards presented by the American Advertising Federation Acadiana .
