BRIDGING THE GAP

Last year, Baton Rouge Business & Career Solutions Center (BRBCSC) came to Right Angle for a rebranding that would more accurately reflect its mission — to cultivate a skilled workforce through training services, resulting not only in job placement for the jobseeker, but also in a stronger workforce for regional employers. In the 16 years that BRBCSC served East Baton Rouge Parish, it had operated under several different names. It was time for a new angle.

Following our in-depth process to help distill its mission, BRBCSC settled on a new name: EmployBR. We then began developing a new logo and identity system — one that embodied EmployBR’s work toward bridging the employment gap, as well as Baton Rouge’s iconic riverfront.

The new branding was announced by Baton Rouge Mayor-President, Melvin L. “Kip” Holden, at the EmployBR 2014 Spring Job Fair. He said that he believes a successful new brand for EmployBR will foster a deep loyalty and connection in the hearts and minds of prospective customers and employers. We couldn’t agree more.

IT'S A (BUBBLE) WRAP!

It’s official … we’ve moved! Over Independence Day weekend, we packed up computers and design books — even Naomi’s Ragin' Cajun gnome — and headed Downtown. Our new location is nearly double the space of our previous office on South Washington and includes a giant, curved dry-erase wall, an audio editing booth, and space for some of our creative partners to utilize when they visit.

Also, be sure to visit our website — to coincide with our new space, we’ve freshened up our portfolio with several examples of award-winning work including logos, brochures, television commercials, and more.

Over the past 26 years, Right Angle has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of leaders in various industries. These opportunities have made an impact, inspiring us to strive for leadership excellence within our own agency as well. One of our clients, Houston, Texas area-based Andrew Coaching, supports bottom line results by building principled leaders through workshops, followed by one-on-one team coaching.

With both national and international clients, Andrew Coaching has provided its services to industry leaders such as Caterpillar, Patterson-UTI, and Quanta Services. Right Angle began working with Andrew Coaching in 2005, designing and maintaining comprehensive resource packets and other support materials. We are proud to contribute to Andrew Coaching’s mission.
